The Flood of Age Of Chivalry Las Vegas 2025
This photo was taken just hours before a storm rolled through and flooded multiple guild camps, including ours.
Water came within about two feet of the back wall. Tents were torn loose and scattered. My sleeping tent didn’t make it.
The booth did. Everything inside stayed dry.
That is what real event gear is supposed to do.
London Bridge Festival 2025 / 2026
Torn Down in One Day. Held the Next Year.
This was our old booth, built from whatever we could piece together. We thought it was good enough.
At the London Bridge event in Lake Havasu, the terrain funnels strong winds directly through the vendor area.
It didn’t last a full day.
The next year, we came back with our Professional Vendor Setup. Same location. Same wind.
The difference was immediate. The structure held. The booth stayed intact.
That is what happens when your setup is built for real conditions.
Pirate Fest LV 2026
Six People, Full Gear, High Winds — No Issues
Two days after tearing down in Lake Havasu, where we were hit with sustained 50 mph winds, we set up again for Pirate Fest in Las Vegas.
This time, we were not vending. We were living out of the setup as guildees.
One 5x8 marquee handled six people sleeping, all of our gear and garb, and a working kitchen setup in the center.
That weekend brought sustained 30 mph winds with gusts pushing 60.
The structure held. The setup worked. We lived out of it the entire time.
That is the difference between a tent and a usable encampment.
